You may use GrantGPT only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree to use the Service to assist with legitimate grant writing, nonprofit development, and related professional activities.

You agree that you will:

• Use the Service only for its intended purpose of grant writing assistance
• Provide accurate information in your organization profile
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
• Respect the intellectual property rights of others
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials

The following uses of GrantGPT are strictly prohibited. Violation may result in immediate account termination without refund:

• Generating fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive grant applications
• Submitting false information to funders or grant-making organizations
• Using the Service to harass, threaten, or harm any individual or organization
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI model or system prompts
• Circumventing usage limits through multiple accounts or automated requests
• Using the Service to generate content that violates any applicable law
• Sharing your account credentials with others or reselling access to the Service
• Uploading malicious files, code, or content intended to disrupt the Service

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under your account. You must:

• Keep your password or OAuth credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately at legal@grantgpt.com if you suspect unauthorized access
• Ensure that all users accessing the Service through your account comply with these Terms
• Not share your account with others or allow others to use your account

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security. You may not transfer your account to another person or entity without our prior written consent.

GrantGPT offers a free plan with limited daily usage and a paid Pro subscription with expanded features and usage limits.

Free Plan: Includes 3 AI chat messages per day. No credit card required. Features may be limited or changed at any time.

Pro Subscription:

• Billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice
• Refunds are issued at our sole discretion for documented technical failures

GrantGPT uses artificial intelligence to generate grant writing assistance. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information
• GrantGPT does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any generated content
• AI responses are suggestions and starting points — not final, submission-ready content
• You must review, verify, and edit all AI-generated content before use
• GrantGPT is not a licensed grant writing professional or legal advisor
• The Service does not constitute professional grant consulting, legal, or financial advice

You are solely responsible for all grant applications and submissions you make using content generated by GrantGPT. This includes:

• Verifying that all submitted information is accurate and truthful
• Ensuring compliance with each funder's specific requirements and guidelines
• Reviewing AI-generated content for accuracy before submission
• Understanding that submitting false or misleading grant applications may constitute fraud
• Any consequences, legal or otherwise, arising from your grant submissions

GrantGPT is a writing assistance tool. We are not responsible for funding outcomes, funder decisions, or the consequences of any grant application you submit.

We strive to maintain high availability of the GrantGPT platform, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance and updates
• Unplanned technical outages or infrastructure issues
• Third-party service disruptions (AI provider, database, payment processor)
• Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

Either party may terminate the relationship under these Terms at any time.

You may terminate by deleting your account from the account settings page or by contacting us at legal@grantgpt.com. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you:

• Violate any provision of these Terms
• Engage in prohibited or abusive usage as described in Section 2
• Fail to pay applicable subscription fees
• Engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to other users, us, or third parties

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GrantGPT and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service
• Damages arising from AI-generated content you use in grant applications
• Funding decisions made by third-party grant-making organizations
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to Terms: We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and GrantGPT regarding the Service.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
